Anavar Side Effects-Oxandrolone Overdosing

One of the most popular fat loss drugs in the world of amateur and professional sports, Anavar, also known as AnVar and Oxandrolone, is rated by thousands of elite athletes as an excellent steroid to lose fat and gain strength at the same time. This derivative of Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) that is classified as a Schedule III (non-narcotic) controlled substance under the U.S. Anabolic Steroids Control Act of 1990 is second to none for reducing abdominal and visceral fat.

Anavar is medically prescribed to improve body composition, reduce hospital stay time, and preserve muscle mass. This steroid is beneficial to provide dramatic relief to patients who are diagnosed with muscle wasting diseases like HIV/AIDS or those afflicted with low calcium content in the bones or low bone density. But, some athletes tend to use Anavar in absence or contravention of medical advice and this is where the risk of Anavar side effects happens. When overdosed or abused, Anavar can cause loss of appetite, depression, dark urine, muscle cramps, nausea, bloating, high blood pressure, insomnia, tremors, hallucination, negative effects on an individual's personality, mood, relationships, and wrong assumptions about social realities. This steroid may even lead to vomiting, itching, difficulty in breathing, acne, changes in libido, menstrual irregularities, and mood changes.

Anavar abuse can also be a cause behind premature hair loss, oily skin, acne, kidney damage, liver damage, stunted growth, depression, addiction, fatigue, restlessness, and gynecomastia. Long-term results of Anavar abuse may include abnormal liver function, male pattern baldness, abnormal hair growth, deepening of the voice, testicular atrophy, cardiovascular problems, oligo, azoospermia, changes in or cessation of the menstrual cycle, joint and ligament injuries, neurological problems, sleeping disorders, paranoia, pathological anxiety, euphoria, accelerated puberty changes, and premature skeletal maturation. Abuse of this steroid can also lead to clitoral hypertrophy, infertility, or sexual dysfunction. Infertility, reduced sperm count, oily skin, acne, heart damage, increased risk of coronary diseases, fluid retention, shrinking of the testicles, and increased risk for breast and prostate cancer.
